[bdNOG-EC] SANOG 25 Speaker Support Request

Hi Tito,

bdNOG EC has decided to support BDTK 25,000/= of your travel cost to SANOG25
in Kandy.

Please co-ordinate with Pappu for suitable reimbursement procedure and etc
what EC has suggested.

Also don't forget to add bdNOG logo/name in your presentations and other
related publication in SANOG25. :)

Dear Roman Vai

Thank you for taking my request in consideration. I am following your
queries with my answers;

1. Did you officially requested Link3 for your travel support?
I have not requested officially from Link3. But asked them if it is feasible
while my GM informed it would not be possible as I have been provided last
year as a trainee to SANOG 23. If it is required I can apply on next
official day to Link3 to support my travel to check the out come.
1. Did you apply for fellowship from SANOG25?
No. This time I have not applied as I thought fellowship is for trainee. As
I submitted as a speaker and expected to serve so I didn't applied for
fellowship.
1. Can you give us an estimate of your main travel cost I.e air ticket &
accommodation (separately)
I paid my Airfare with a credit which costs BDT 54,207.00. I am attaching
the actual airfare receipt mail as attachment. I have checked a hotel so far
which seems far from conference area but a reasonable amount which will be
BDT 2382.00 per night. For reference the hotel name is Kandy View Hotel.

1. Will you be happy to acknowledge and use bdNOG logo on your presentation?
Yes. Certainly I would be honored to represent bdNOG.
1. Will you be able to prepare a small e-mail report (simple,  max 1 page)
including what you did @SANOG25 and how it helped you?
Yes. I would definitely prepare an e-mail with a decent writeup describing
SANOG25 and its effect on me.

Dear Secretary

I am glad to inform you that one of my paper has been accepted to SANOG 25
Tutorial. I am attaching the tutorial presentation and time schedule of
SANOG 25 for your concern.

So far I have prepared my self for the program and I will be participating
the program by my own financial support as SANOG is unable to provide any
financial support this time. It is hard on my part to contribute the entire
financial expenditure so I would like to request you to support me for my
travel expenses.

I hope your generous consideration on this so that I can easily make my
first step comfortably being an international conference speaker abroad.
