bdNOG-10 Preparatory EC Meeting

Date  : 24th MAR 2019
Time : 4:00 PM (BST)

Agenda :

1. CFP Promotion : All the EC Members were requested to promote CFP for
bdNOG10 with the friends, colleagues and peers to submit interesting
presentation in the upcoming event.

2. Opening Plenary : The opening plenary will be according to usual bdNOG
format with the support of ISPAB as a local host of the event. There will
be mandatory speech by ISPAB President/GS, bdNOG Trusty Chair, KeyNote
Speaker, bdNOG President.

3. Keynote Speaker : Biplob Vai will search for KeyNote Speaker locally
from Chittagong/Cox's Bazar area. By one week he will propose some names
to the EC. Also Zihad vai proposed the names about Maz-San, TeamCymru.
With the EC's Consent the Priority is selected the following Format.
a) Local Key Note ( Mr. Biplob )
b) TeamCymru ( Mr. Zihad )
c) Maz-San ( Simon )

4. Program Committee : With the consent of the ECs, Mr.  Zihad will lead
the PC as a Chair of that Committee. Existing PC committee will remain
same. Also EC will request Mr. Aniruddha, CTO, COL to join the PC for
bdNOG event. PC Chair will call PC meetings within shortest possible time.

5. Chittagong Local Participants : EC requested Mr. Zihad & Mr. Biplod to
contact Mr. Mahin of Society of IT Professionals to join hands with bdNOG
EC to increase the local participation. Zihad Vai and Roman Vai will
coordinate with them on this regards.

6. Sponsors : All the ECs were requested to find local and international
Sponsors.
a) ICANN, ISOC, APNIC : Roman
b) facebook : SIMON
c) BDCOM, bdIX : SUMON AHMED SABIR

7. Opening Social : Mr. Zihad will work with COL for the Opening Social
Sponsorship and update the EC very soon.

8. Internet Sponsorship : amberIT/Link3 or any local Internet Provided
with IPv6 will sponsor the internet of the venue. Will be finalized before
next meeting with the help of ISPAB.

9. In-Kind Sponsorship : All the ECs are requested to find the in-kind
sponsorship for T-shirt and other goodies.

NEXT Meeting : Will be within 10 Days from this meeting.
