CALL FOR PAPERS (CfP)

Bangladesh Network Operators Group (bdNOG) is seeking contribution for
conference presentations for bdNOG5 & ION Conference on Internet
Operational Technologies.

We are looking for presenters who would:

- Participate in the technical conference sessions as a speaker;

The bdNOG5 & ION Conference program is organised in two parts, including
conference and workshops. Following conference sessions are open for CfP:

- Operational Network, Global Perspective
- Operational Network, Bangladesh Perspective (Priority will be given to
local speaker)
- Acamedic / Operational Research
- Best Current Operational Practice (BCOP) for Internet Operational Network


TARGET AUDIENCE

- Network Architect/Engineers, Network/System Administrator
- ISP/Telco/Bank/Enterprise IT Infrastructure Manager/Planning Professionals
- Academic Researcher, University Student

- IPv6 deployment and transition technologies
- Access and Transport network including 3G/LTE, WiMax, FTTx/GPON, STM,
MPLS etc.
- Wi-Fi and SP Wi-Fi Technologies
- Content & Service Delivery (Multicast, Voice, Video, "telepresence",
Gaming) and Cloud Computing
- DNS / DNSSEC, Mail, WWW etc
- Network security issues (NSP-SEC, DDoS, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware)
- Firewall and Network Security BCPs.
- Internet policy (Security, Regulation, Content Management, Addressing, etc)
- IXPs and Peering
- Research on Internet Operations and Deployment
- Academic Research on Internet Technologies
- IP Telephony and Voice
- Internet Operation and application in Bangladesh Perspective
- ISP and Telco backbone network operation

CfP SUBMISSION
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Draft slides for both tutorials and conference sessions MUST be provided
with CfP submissions otherwise the Program Committee will be unable to
review the submission. For work in progress, the most current information
available at time of submission is acceptable.

Final slides are to be provided by the specified deadline for publication
on the bdNOG website.

The PC will retain a limited number of slots up to the final submission
deadline for presentations that are exceptionally timely, important, or of
critical operational importance.
